      Well, if you read about Schnauzers it will tell you that they do not shed, so are great for people who have allergies.Some will say they HARDLY shed. I would say they shed VERY well.I have had a few miniature Schnauzers and never noticed that they shed at all or HARDLY. BUT a Giant evidently is NOT the same. I have cut all her hair short except her beard and brows trying to cut down on the amount of hair she loses. It seems to help some.Ebony stays in our dinning room ,as that is her domain.THAT is a subject for another time.When I sweep that floor there are these balls of what I call, cotton candy hair, floating across the floor.Some times it is worse than other times.I find on everything that is white, tiny little black hairs. You must know that I hate dog hair worse than anything.I have a sticky tape roller that I roll over everything.If you are thinking about a Schnauzer and YOU hate hair go for the Miniature.The Giants are not for everyone for reasons that are more obvious. I didn’t have a say in the matter ,mine was a gift.
